I want to see things I’ve never seen before. I aim to make work that satisfies this wish by sculpting glass with torches, hand forging silver, and lasercutting textiles. By making all of my own ingredients, it’s easier to create unique and original pieces. 

I have done work for Martha Stewart, Calvin Klein, and Oprah Winfrey among many others, and my work is in several museum collections. 

I have been sculpting glass with torches since 1998, and lasercutting textiles since 2009. My BFA in Glass and MFA in Illustration were earned at the Rhode Island School of Design, and I studied Digital Fabrication in the pilot year of MIT's Fab Academy. I've taught at RISD, UrbanGlass, Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, Snow Farm, and other programs around the world.
