Long Dichroic Glass bead

I lampworked this piece from dichroic glass, which is really special because it has internal coatings of metallic oxides that reflect and refract different wavelengths of light, like the fire of an opal.

This amulet or talisman feels comfortable in the hand, or can easily be strung for wearing. It's a little over 2 inches long, or 52 millimeters in length.
